Scope:
To define terms and identify acronyms to facilitate communication among the practitioners of Urban Search and Rescue (US&R) Robotics. Both generic as well as US&R specific robotic terms will be addressed. The work is in ASTM E54, Homeland Security Application Committee, subcommittee 08, Operational Equipment. The working group collaborates closely with E54.92 that handles terminology for the entire E54.

Work Items:
A set of 10 terms is being balloted in the committee. Comments are welcome.
