Metrology Interoperability Project Implementer Feedback on I++ DME Interface SpecificationsThe document integrating the comments of various implementers worldwide of the I++ DME specification version 1.3 is IntegratedCommentsOnI++DME1.30.doc. Implementers of this version and more recent versions of the specification are encouraged to submit comments to John Horst of NIST at john.horst@nist.gov and they will be integrated into this and future documents. The document disambiguationsInTheNISTtestSuite.pdf describes the explicit decisions NIST has made (in the NIST test suite utilities implementation of the I++ DME spec version 1.30) relating to certain items in the I++ DME spec that appear to be ambiguous (i.e., items that have multiple meanings). This "disambiguation" document is somewhat different than the integrated comments document (which states those items in the spec that appear to be ambiguous and makes suggestions for changes in the spec), since the disambiguation document records an implementor's particular interpretation of the spec where he believes the spec to be ambiguous. A Microsoft Excel spreadsheet, response_major_NISTpriorities_1.3.1.xls, that 1) references the implementors comments document, 2) contains responses from the I++ spec writers team, 3) contains further comments and prioritization code from the implementors to guide spec writers as they prioritize correcting items in the I++ DME spec. The document describing implemeter feedback on an earlier version of the I++ DME specification (version 1.1) is ImplementorFeedbackOnI++DMEspecVer1.1.pdf.
